Ali Giusti is a professional musician with 15 years music teaching experience. She started learning music from a very young age and went on to achieve a degree in music from Cardiff University. While still at university, Ali began working as a session musician all over the UK and also cut her teeth as a teacher of music.
As well as teaching instrumental lessons in Flute, Piano and Guitar, she also worked closely with The Gate Arts Centre in Cardiff, writing and facilitating music programmes for children aged 5 - 18 years.
Having moved to Ireland in 2003, Ali continued to work as a session musician, but also began to broaden her horizons as a teacher. Over the last ten years she has worked with Gymboree Ireland, specialising in the delivery of music classes for Parents and Toddlers. She has written music programmes for Walton’s New School of Music and has also worked as a Flute and Pre-Instrumental teacher for the renowned Leeson Park School of Music.
Most notably, Ali has demonstrated her expertise in the area of writing Music Programmes for Primary Schools when she joined Ceol Ireland in 2006, where her skills have seen her develop programmes for each level of Pre-School and Primary School. She has also developed professional development sessions that accompany each of the Ceol Programmes that enable Primary School teachers to more effectively teach music in the classroom.
